Charles B Hill's obituary was published in the Robinson, IL, paper in July, 1921:
CHARLES HILL DIES OF ASTHMA
Chas. Hill, who resided three miles west of Robinson, passed away at his home this Tuesday morning [July 26, 1921] at four o'clock after an illness of a few days. He was 47 years of age. He leaves a wife and the following children: Misses Norma, Ruth, and Helen and Chas. Jr., who are at home, and a mother, two sisters and three brothers who do not live here.
Mr. Hill was a member of the Christian Church, and the funeral, which will be held at the residence, will be conducted by Rev. James Welsh of the First Christian Church of Robinson. Time has not been set for the funeral. Burial will be made in the Robinson new cemetery.
Mr. Hill came here with the development of the oil industry and thirteen years ago located on the Sam Firebaugh farm where he was in charge of oil production. He was a good citizen and his good family will have the sympathy of the entire community in their great loss.
