LOEFFLER, KATHLEEN "KATHY" 53 -
of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 23, 2013 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Cape May, Kathy lived in Cape May County and had worked at Lighthouse Point prior to moving to DE. She was a lead teller for Citizens Bank from November of 1998 to the present, she had also worked for various branches in New Castle County most recently at the Marsh Road Branch. Kathy was very active for many years with the Boy Scouts Troop 803 in Hockessin, DE. Kathy is survived by her mother and father, Sandra and Raymond Haner; son, Christopher Loeffler; brother, Louis Haner and his wife Kristi; sister, Betty A. Walsh; nephew, Martin J. Walsh III and her niece, Ally K. Haner. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Ralph Johnson (1969) Vera Johnson (2007) and her brother, Raymond Haner (1993). Funeral services will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 27th at 7:00 pm, where family and friends may visit from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Rd., Pike Creek. Burial will follow on Thursday, February 28th at 11:00am in St. Mary's Cemetery, 1056 Seashore Rd., Cape May, NJ.
