AKA Bernard of Hollywood best known portrait & glamour photographer worked with Marilyn Monroe many times in her early modeling career, as well as taking the well known photograph's of her in the red dress she wore for the movie Niagara.
In 1984 Hollywood applauded Bernard for being the first still photographer to be honored with the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences award. With a 50 year retrospective exhibition of more than 120 of his legendary portraits including, Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, Marlene Dietrich, Rita Hayworth, Ginger Rogers, Brigitte Bardot, Jayne Mansfield, Spencer Tracy, John Wayne, Clark Gable, Gregory Peck, Tyrone Power and Leonard Bernstein.
