MRS. I. PARKER, 44, OF LONG MOTT, DIED HERE EARLY TODAY

Mrs. Ida Parker, 44, wife of J.E. Parker, prominent farmer of Long Mott, Calhoun County, died this morning at 2:40 o'clock at the Victoria Hospital following a lingering illness. Mrs. Parker was born in 1884 in Burnett County, Texas. She resided in Port Lavaca for a number of years, removing to Long Mott about a year ago.
Besides her husband, the deceased is survived by her mother, Mrs. C. Jackson of Port Lavaca; four daughter, Mrs. W.L. Beck of Corpus Christi, Mrs. Chas. Ray of Port Lavaca, Misses Thelma and Louie Parker of Long Mott; two sons, Raymond and Morris of Long Mott; six brother, G.W. of Burnett, E.G. of Robstown, Chas. and Nobel of Houston, W.W. of Corpus Christi, Ben of Falfurias, and two sisters, Mrs. W.B. Parker of Port Lavaca and Mrs. T.P. Parker of Houston.
The funeral was held this afternoon at 4 o'clock from the Goldman-Waters Chapel, burial being in the Evergreen Cemetery. Rev. Tex Stevens of the Church of Christ of Yoakum officiated.
