Anna B. Tramontana, (nee Bertolino), 98, entered into rest Monday, February 25, 2013. She was born on March 2, 1914 in West Lebanon, Pennsylvania. She lived in Lorain for over 50 years, coming from Buffalo, New York.

Anna retired at the age of 77, from Jay's Laundromat in Lorain. She was a member of St. Peter's Parish in Lorain. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, and family visits from Pennsylvania.

She is survived by her children, Joseph (Marilyn) of Avon, Charles (Jo Ellen) from Cumberland, Rhode Island, and Anna Marie (Robert) Andress of Avon; seven grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; sisters, Josephine (John-deceased) Maudie of Pennsylvania, and Vivian (Tony-deceased) of Pagano, of Pennsylvania; brothers, Mike (Betty-deceased) Bertolino, and Sam (Dorothy) Bertolino, both from Pennsylvania.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; son, Sammy Tramontana; and brothers Joe, Liberty, Charles, and Tony.

The family will receive friends at the Misencik Funeral Home, 36363 Detroit Road, Avon, Friday, March 1, 2013, from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 P.M. Closing prayers will be Saturday, March 2, 2013, at 8:45 A.M., followed by a 9:30 A.M. Mass, at St Peters Parish, 3501 Oberlin Ave., Lorain. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.

Memorial contributions may be made to Avon Oaks Skilled Care Nursing Facility, Activity Fund, 37800 French Creek Rd. Avon, OH 44011 or a charity of your choice.

The family wishes to extend its sincere thanks to the staff of Avon Oaks Skilled Care Nursing Facility, for its excellent care given Anna throughout her stay. Special thanks to Colleen Costello and her devoted aides.
