Noah Foltz Unit of Confederate Service; Company B, 8th Battalion Virginia Reserves Birth 29 May 1815 Death 15 Feb 1900 RECORD OF SERVICE: Enlisted 28 May 1864 as a private (age 49) in Company B, 8th Battalion Virginia Reserves. No further record. The following Information submitted by: Penny His Father Reubin N. Foltz is one of my child 5G Grandparents. Reubin N. FOLTZ. Born on Oct 06 1782 in Rockingham County, Virginia. Reubin died on Mar 27 1869 in Page County, Virginia; he was 86. In 1807, when Reubin was 24, he married Elizabeth KITE. They had the following children ... i. Mary E. FOLTZ (1810 - 1882) ii. A Southern Unionist... NOT Confederate in sentiment. Served in the 8th Bttn. Reserves (a paper organization which never saw service, and remained primarily in Page County), but only as a continued effort to evade service in the Confederate army in the fie...(Read more)
