Final rites for Kathryn E. Koster, age 71 of Amberg, WI were held at Morasky-Messar Funeral Home on Oct. 27th. Burial was in Amberg Cemetery. She died Tuesday, Oct. 24th at her home.
The former Kathryn White was born in Buhl, Minnesota on October 21,1918.
She married Howard Koster on March 25, 1927 in Iron Mountain, Michigan. They lived in Amberg since 1939. He died in October 1980.
Mrs. Koster was a member of the Amberg Legion Auxiliary and served on the election board in Amberg for many years.
Surviving are three sons: Leslie of Amberg, WI; Harry of Oshkosh, WI and Ron of Indianapolis, IN; one daughter Mrs. Olen (Carol) Ridling of Harrisville, NY;
one brother Harry "Bud" White, Jr. of Amberg;
7 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
