G-Aunt Nona was a housewife; she loved to sew and was a member of the Pentecostal church. She married Elbert (Eb) TIDWELL on 21 Aug 1922 in Bienville Parish LA. The marriage application was dated 21 Aug 1922, but never completed to add the date or place of marriage.

Funeral services for Mrs. Nona Martha Tidwell, 69, of 636 Harrison, will be at 1pm today in the Marshall Street Chapel of Rose - Neath Funeral Home with the Rev Rodney Duron, Pastor of First Assembly of God, officiating. Burial will be in Fellowship Cemetery in Jonesboro-Hodge.
Mrs. Tidwell died Tuesday in Willis - Knighton Hospital after a long illness. A native of Bienville Parish, she had lived in Shreveport 13 years.
Survivors include five sons, Ellis Tidwell, Mearl Tidwell, Wayne Tidwell and Jimmy Tidwell, all of Shreveport, and J. E. Tidwell of Chatham; four daughters, Mrs. Martha Moss of Orlando, Fla., Mrs. Rachel Antley of Dickerson, Tex, Mrs. Betty Neal of Jackson, Miss, and Mrs. Jean Jones of Shreveport, five sisters, four brothers; 24 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Tidwell, Chet Tidwell, Garry Tidwell, Duane Antley, Keith Antley, and Mark Antley.
