Elizabeth Ann, the daughter of John Benjamin and Marn Jensen Allison, married Richard Franklyn Leach on December 27, 1947 in New Mexico.
"Ann moved with her parents to their hometown of McPherson, Kansas, at the age of one. She attended McPherson schools and Scripps College and graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Arts and Sciences, then studied law for one year at the University of Denver. Following law school, Ann was an Instructor in the Department of Speech, Kansas State University for three semesters."

Ann, the oldest of the Allison girls, has been extremely helpful in filling in the gaps about her grandfather, Benjamin Alexander Allison and her cousins that grew up
in McPherson, Kansas.
During her retirement years she wrote several books.
"In One Door & Out the Other" written at the age of 87 while living in a retirement home.
"Louder than Words" written and Illustrated by Ann Allison Leach.
