Of Williamsburg, RD, died unexpectedly at 9 p.m. yesterday at his home after having been ill for the past five years. He was born at Mount Union on March 5, 1902, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Rhine, and married Margaret Hoffman. Survivng are his wife, 10 children, Mrs. Grace Claar of Beaver Falls, Arthur T. of Altoona, David E. of Fredericksburg, James E., in the Navy at Norfolk, VA., Benjamin P. of Hollidaysburg, Joseph L. in the Air Force in Arizona, Ellen, Raymond D., George and Marjorie at the home: 10 grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Elsie Brantner, Mrs. Bertha Lauffer, and Mrs. Virgie Traxler of Williamsburg, RD. A daughter Betty Jane, 16 months old was drowned in May 1936, in Clover Creek.Mr. Rhine was a member of the Williamsburg Church of the Brethern and an employee of the Trap Rock Quarry, Williamsburg. Friend will be received at the Friedline Funeral Home, Williamsburg after 7 p.m. today.
