Services for George I. Reading, 68, of 2640 Pacific Street Davenport, will be 2:30 p.m. Monday at Runge Chapel. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery. Visitation is 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Mr. Reading died Friday at his home. He retired in 1977 from the Rock Island Arsenal. He earlier was employed 17 years by the Milwaukee Railroad. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include a sister, Ellen L. Davenport, and a brother, Gerald, both of Davenport; two nieces; and two nephews.
