Jonathan Willard was the son of Jonathan, Sr., and Keziah White.

From about 1761 Jonathan Willard served at Fort No. 4. For his service to the King, he was granted land in Walpole and Saville (Goshen and Sunapee). In Nov 1768 his Saville grant was Lot 2 in the 2nd South Range (Goshen) . In 1777 Jonathan of Charlestown, sold Lot 2 to Willis Hall of Medford MA. (Cheshire Deeds 2-493)
