Funeral services were conducted yesterday afternoon at the New Hope church near Higbee for Mrs. Emma Haines, 88, who died Thursday night at the home of her son Nathan Haines, near Higbee. Burial was in the New Hope Cemetery.
-Mrs. Haines is survived by one son; a daughter, Mrs. Herman Israel of Evansville, Ind.; three sisters, Mrs. Ellen Cooley, 817 Franklin street; Mrs. Maud McDaniel and Mrs. Olivia Webster of Huntsville; and two grandchildren.
