"Mrs. Mary Carl, 74, Succumbs at Home of Daughter Here
Mrs. Mary Ida Carl Clover, 74, died at 5:15 p.m. Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Purl Flack, 26 Hilton St. after a three year illness. Her condition had been serious for the past six months.
Mrs. Carl was born Aug. 14, 1875, at Brookville, Pa., and came to this city 30 years ago.
She was united in marriage to John Henry Clover in 1892. To this union were born seven children: Mrs. Flo Flack, Bradford; Cluth Clover, Mundorf, Pa.; Myrtle Clover Taylor, Lottie Clover, Grave Clover, all deceased; Burt Clover and Lawrence Clover, Lodi, Ohio.
She was united in marriage to Samuel Carl in 1912. To this union were born three children: Mrs. Rose Stewart, Bradford; Mrs. Cellia Hartman, North East, Pa, and Robert Carl, deceased. Neither husband survives.
The following grandchildren survive: Mrs. Martha Hart, Purl Flack, Jr., 26 Hilton St.; Miss Lillian Hartman, Jackie Hartman, Miss Nancy Hartman, all of North East; Frank, Phyllis, Robert, Billie, and Lindy Clover, all of Lodi, Ohio; and one great-granddaughter, Miss Flora Mae More, 26 Hilton St.
The body will be taken to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Flack, this afternoon. Funeral services, which will be held at the home, will be announced later.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck Funeral Chapel."

"Funeral Services For Mrs. Mary Carl Are Held at Home
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ida Carl, 26 Hilton St., who died at her home Sunday evening, were held at the home Thursday morning at 10 o'clock. The Rev. Berthold Jakstell, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiated.
Pallbearers and flower bearers were: Larry Palmiter, A. T. Foster, Dave Stewart, Jake Geezer, Arch Brown and Raymond Allen.
Mrs. Lois Potts and Mrs. Grace Hanks, sang "Safe in the Arms of Jesus" and "Good Night Here and Good Morning Up There." Burial was in McKean Memorial Park.
Out-of-town friends and relatives attending the services included: Thomas Carl, Hills Dale, Pa; Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Hartman, Lillian Hartman, Gerald Hartman Jr., Robert Hartman, North East, Pa.; Cluth Clover, Mundorf, Pa.; Earl Peters, Blanch Peters, Marienville; Benny Borrinan, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Clover, Miss Phylis Clover, Billy Clover, Lindy Clover, Lodi, O.; Miss Nettie Moore, Kane; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Grolemund, Emporium, Pa.; Orin Crandall, Olean; Mrs. Jessie Shellhouse, Celoron, N. Y."
