Harvey Elmer Kubat, Jr., 75, of Clayton died Friday, February 15, 2013 at Amery Regional Medical Center. He was born June 27, 1937 in St. Paul, MN to Harvey and Viola (Backus) Kubat, Sr. He graduated from high school in St. Paul in 1955. He worked for many years at American Can Company in St. Paul.

He was married in St. Paul, MN on October 3, 1960 to Darlene Lindstrom who preceded him in death on December 28, 2012. Harvey was also preceded in death by siblings, Bruce Kubat, Elaine Nelson and Barbara Rishavy.

He is survived by: his children, Jodi (Todd) Jackson of Clayton; Rick (Tracy Lampher) Kubat of Cottage Grove, MN; 5 grandchildren, Kory and Jordan, Tyler, Bryce and Abby.

Graveside Services with Military Honors are scheduled for 2:00 PM on Monday, February 25, 2013 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery with Rev. Mark Aune officiating.
