Seth graduated from South Side High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was a World War II Navy veteran and worked as a chemical engineer.

Preceded in death by his parents, Burton and Garnet Adams.

Seth is survived by his wife, Dorothy; a son, Dr. David of Simpsonville, South Carolina; brothers, Manford of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Wendell of New Haven, Indiana; a sister, Frances Gantz of Fort Wayne, Indiana and two grandchildren..
