Lonnie Alvin Gott will always be my father but for the 26 years that I knew him, he was so much more. He was my father, confidant, and my friend. He always provided for his family and we loved him very much for it. He was taken at the age of 49, taken to soon for us, but the right amount of time for God. He will be forever missed by his wife, my mother, Charlene, his son, me, Christopher, his daughter Sara, his grandson Bubba "Gampas lil man, Shaun", his 2 granddaughters, Emily and Christina, and his newest grandson Riley, and numerous other relatives.
Dad, I know you are in heaven looking down and trust me. Your granddaughters and newest grandson will know all about you. The one you met, Shaun still remembers you, and talks about you almost daily.
UPDATE:(7-26-2009) Its been almost 4 and a half years since my dad passed away. There is not a day that goes by that his family does not think about him or miss him. We all love him so much and can not wait to see him again. Dad, you were taken from us way to soon. I hope you are looking down and smiling on us all. Hugss and kisses. Dad, Sara and me will never let your grandchildren forget who you are. Its coming up on mom's 50th bday. We are gonna throw her a party, I just wish we could have thrown you one too. I LOVE YOU DAD. I know heaven is where you want to be but I wish you would have waited longer to get your ticket.
