Mound Chapel Cemetery is noted as K-2 on the attached map. It is also referred to as Mound Methodist Episcopal Cemetery, Mound M.E. Cemetery or Lizden Cemetery. Mound cemetery is located in Section 22 of Mound Township in McDonough County, IL at the intersection of Hwy 95 and Hwy 41. Special Note about Location: Mound Cemetery should not be confused with Upper Mound Cemetery. The other cemetery is called Upper Mound Cemetery (Also referred to as High United Brethren, High Mound, Dyer or Sheets Cemetery).
