Pauline is survived by her son Troy Jr and his wife Ruth, and her grandchildren, Troy III, Lawrence, Damon, Terry, Lisa, Matthew, Tiffani, and Shiloh. Her husband of 64 years, Troy Braswell Sr, passed away in 2005. Her son Edward passed away in the mid-1970s and her daughter Linda passed away in 2002. She cherished her 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Pauline was born on July 24, 1925 to Nora and James Wedworth in Aitcheson, Kansas. She had three sisters and two brothers, and is survived by her sister Mabel. She was raised on a small farm near Roundway, Mississippi where the family raised cotton. She met her husband Troy Sr in 1939 on a double date with her sister Louise, and married in May of 1941 in a dual ceremony with best friends Charley and Katherine Forbes.

In 1952, the family moved to Hawthorne, CA, and Pauline worked for her brother Jim Wedworth who owned Phil's Bike Shop, which started her 30 year career in the Schwinn Bicycle business. Ultimately, Troy Sr and Pauline owned three bicycle shops and Pauline was active in the Local Rotary, Chamber of Commerce, and the Business and Professional Women's Club. Troy and Pauline retired to the Kern Valley in 1986.

Pauline was active in multiple community events and was instrumental in establishing the Skilled Nursing Center in the Kern River Valley. She was an active volunteer for the Historical Society, the Hospital Auxiliary, and started a chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. During her free time, she resumed writing poetry, delighting her friends in the Kern Valley and receiving letters of appreciation from US Presidents Ronald Reagan, Jimmy Carter, and Barrack Obama. The pinnacle came when her work was published in "Poets of the Twentieth Century."

Pauline was always there to help her family and friends and welcomed everyone to join her extended family. She was a very special person and will be missed by everyone who knew her..
