Herman A. (Hontz) Arnold, a former road supervisor in North Lebanon Township, died at 2:20 a.m. today in the Good Samaritan Hospital following a lingering illness. He was 64 and a resident of 525 Cherry St. A number of years ago, Arnold served two terms as road supervisor in North Lebanon Township. He was a retired employe of the Bethlehem Steel concentrator plant, a member of St. Mary's Church and its Holy Name Society and the Lebanon Lodge of Orioles. A son of the late Theodore and Elizabeth Bixler, he is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lillian M. Metz Arnold; one daughter, Miss Regina E. Arnold, Harrisburg; one son, Stephen F., at home; one brother, Theodore J. Palmyra, and a number of nieces and nephews.
