Mrs. Alma G. Bork, 41, wife of Irvin Bork, 1312 Hickory Street, died unexpectedly in her home about 4 a. m. Wednesday. Her body was discovered at 5:15 a. m. by her husband who summoned: Fremont police.
Sgt. Robert Boucher and Patrolman Earl Tucker said Mrs. Bork was dead when they arrived at the Bork home. Mr. Bork told them his wife had been up around 2:30 a. m. for a drink of water but had. not complained of feeling ill.
The body is at the Weller-Wonderly funeral home where services will be conducted at 1:30 p. Saturday by the Rev. R. F. Haskins, pastor of Trinity E.U.B. church. Burial will be in the Four Mile House cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p. m. Thursday.
Surviving with the husband are a half-brother, Earl W. Barger, Mansfield and two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Ryder, Mansfield, and Mrs. Bernice Taylor, Gabon, O. Her parents and a brother, Benjamin, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Bork was born in Tiro, O. November 15, 1916, a daughter of Edward and Benna Glower Traxler. She married Irvin Bork November 30, 1931 in Gabon, the Rev. Roy S. Bowers officiating. She had been a Fremont resident 15 years.
Mr. Bork is a cousin of Police Chief Myron Bork.
