David B. Neifert, an old settler in Indiana township, died at his home yesterday morning, December 19, at the age of 85 years. He has had several strokes of paralysis, the last stroke coming early yesterday morning.
Mr. Neifert was born in Pennsylvania and came to Iowa at an early age. He settled in Indiana township near Attica, where he has made his home every since. Mrs. Neifert died several yeas ago. He is survived by five children--four sons and one daughter: Frank, Indiana township; John, east of Attica; Charles, of Bussey; Henry, State of Washington, and Mrs. James Frazier, Moberly, Mo. Besides these he leaves two brothers--Daniel, of Guthrie county, and Will, of Florida--and one sister.
