Birth: Aug. 17, 1952

Missouri, USA
Death: Feb. 21, 2005
Lowry City
St. Clair County
Missouri, USA

Daughter of Floyd and Mary Kirk.

Married Earl Eugene Lawton on December 9, 1968 in Deepwater, Missouri.

Mother of Jessica and Walter, and grandmother to several.

Earl passed away October 13, 2004. She just wasn't the same after that.

At the time, Lillian had been going through chemo treatments and was awaiting the results of her tests. By Christmas they told her the cancer was gone, but it came back.

Earl and Lillian had become very good friends with Rev. Steve Highlander during the last several years. While Lillian spent her last few weeks in a nursing home/care center, Rev. Highlander visited her several times. At one visit, he asked her if she had ever been "saved." She replied no, and he asked her if she wanted to be "saved" now. She replied no, that she had many things she regreted and had to make amends for. Rev. Highlander said he was very impressed that even though she knew her time was coming, she didn't try to bluff him, and was very open and honest. The next week, Rev. Highlander visited her again. They started talking and he asked her if she remembered thier conversation from the previous week. She said yes, and he asked her if she was ready to be "saved." She said yes, that she worked everything out and she was now ready. She was "saved" that day and passed away that same week.
