Esther Jones moved with her parents from Syracuse, New York to Sheboygan County about 1845, when she was 8 years old.

Esther married Oscar A Treadwell, whose parents, Alanson Treadwell and Sally Anthony, had also moved from New York to Sheboygan County, on October 9, 1858 in Plymouth.

Death certificates show the couple is buried in Union Cemetery, but there are no cemetery records indicating they were buried here and no gravestones for them can be found. (Research by Marlin Miller.)
