KOPPEL - Carmella "Nellie' Farinelli, loving kind, generous, mother and friend, 84, of Koppel, died Saturday, Feb. 21, 2004, in her residence.
Born Oct. 4, 1919, in Beaver Falls, she was a daughter of the late Bruno Borneo and Catherine Morabito Borneo Orsini. She was a member of Queen of Heaven Church, Koppel.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Anthony "Tony" Florie and her second husband, Albert C. Farinelli; a daughter, Anita Florie Ostrom, in 1977; a brother, Tony Borneo, and two sisters, Rose Pace and Angie Mano.
She is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law, Anthony J. and Sandy Florie, Koppel; Albert C. Farinelli and Bonita Ward, Kennedy Township, and Paul M. Farinelli, Wampum; a daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Bob Hartman, Union Township; one brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Rita Borneo, Beaver Falls; ten grandchildren, Kari Keane and her husband, Tony, Billy Ostrom, Anthony Florie and his wife, Kerry, David Ostrom and his wife, Michelle, ShaneRae Wentzel and her husband, Jared, Carlo Farinelli and his wife, Jessica, Michael and Anthony Farinelli, and Rob and Amy Hartman; five great-grandchildren, Alexandra and Patrick Keane, Candice Florie, Lauren Ostrom, and Anthony Wentzel; a brother-in-law, Louie Mano, Beaver Falls, and a sister-in-law, Katherine "Katie" Borneo, Beaver Falls.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Queen of Heaven Church of Koppel with the Father Joseph R. Lemp as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Chippewa Township.
