FRYE - Verda L., 94, formerly of Moxham, died Sept. 22, 1995, at the Church of the Brethren Home. Born June 22, 1901, in Elton, daughter of Jacob and Lavina (Miller) Baumgardner. Preceded in death by parents; husband, John H.; and 12 brothers and sisters. Survived by children: Beverly Frye, Holmes, N.Y.; Wallace S., married to former June Oswalt, Johnstown; and Budmond, married to former Marjorie Boyd, Englewood, Fla; also five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Last surviving member of her immediate family. Member of Beulah United Methodist Church and Coal Queen Lodge 502. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Moskal & Kennedy Colonial Funeral Home, Ohio Street and Highland Avenue, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, the Rev. Raymond Beal officiating. Interment, Richland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to Church of the Brethren Home, 1005 Hoffman Ave., Windber, PA. 15963.
