Mrs. Katherine "Kay" Gumm Riordan (nee Kaufman), 80, formerly of North Caldwell and Lakehurst, died on Oct. 23 in The Woodlands, Texas. A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, Dec. 12, at 11 a.m. at Queen of Peace Church in North Arlington. Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery, Kearny. Mrs. Riordan was the daughter of Milton and Katherine Kaufman of Kearny. Born in Jersey City, she grew up in North Arlington and Kearny. She was an active member of the Forest Hill Field Club for many years. She was blessed to have two wonderful husbands, who predeceased her - her first husband, John R Gumm, and her second husband, Dr. John P Riordan MD. She is survived by her son and daughter in-law, Nelson Gumm and Becky of The Woodlands, Texas; her daughter and son in-law, Karen Nataloni and Jerry of Cherry Hill, and her stepson and daughter-in-law, John Riordan and Betsy of Succasunna; granddaughter, Krystina Nataloni and grandsons, Alex Gumm, John Riordan, and Matthew Riordan; her sister, Barbara Munnerlyn; her dear cousin. Helen Krysa, and aunt, Ann Wonica.
