COOPER, WILLIAM MAX - 67, of Sevierville passed away Thursday, May 18, 2000 at the Baptist Hospital of East Tennessee in Knoxville. Mr. Cooper was a member of Valley View Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Euna Cooper.

Max is survived by his wife, Evelyn Crowson Cooper of Sevierville; brothers and sisters in law, Delmer and Alice Cooper of Sevierville, James and Lula Mae Cooper of Seymour, Howard Cooper of Eli Jay, Ga., Rex and Peggy Cooper of Benton, Tenn.; sisters and brother in law, Mearl Harnell of Knoxville, Dorothy Hatcher of Benton, Tenn., Alden and Ray Douglas of Sevierville; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Service will be 7:30 p.m. Friday May 19 at Rawlings Funeral Chapel with Rev. Billy Ogle and Rev. Joe Hatcher officiating. Interment will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 20 at Valley View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m. Friday, May 19 at Rawlings Funeral Home.
