Dwight IL- Clifford Ray Campbell 65, of 322 W. Williams St. Dwight, IL. died at 7:30p.m. Saturday Jan 24 1998 at his home.
His funeral will be at 10 am Wednesday at VonQualen Harris Funeral Home, Dwight Pastor Stephen Lauricella officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, Dwight. Visitation will be be from 5-8 pm Tuesday and one hour before before the funeral service Wednesday, both at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to hospice program of the donor's choice. Mr. Campbell was born September 19, 1932 in Oakdale, a son of Orange and Opal Hutchings Campbell. He married Marsha Valiente December 2, 1972 in Dwight. She survives.
Other survivors include one daughter, Serena Renee Campbell, at home; one son Dustin Judd Campbell, at home; a foster daughter Terry Hartigan, Hempstead, Texas; four brothers, Elmer Campbell, Sandwich, Orange Merl Campbell and Emmerson Pat Campbell both of Pickneyville and Billy Davis, Madison, Wisconsin three sisters Sharon Kay Hinshaw, Pontiac, Gladys Mathis Pickneyville, and Helen JoAnn Law, Somanauk; and a sister in law Kay Davis, Duquion.
He also is survived by his foster daughter's two sons, Storm and Dakota, of Hempstead; and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces.
Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by his parents; his stepmother Jessie Campbell; one brother, Paul Davis; two brothers and one sister who all dies as infants; one niece; and one great niece.
