HERMINA GERKEN - Funeral services for Mrs. Hermina Gerken, Sterling, were held Saturday, 1:30 p.m. in the Rock Falls Lutheran Church with Rev. Carl A. Kalkwarf, pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Sterling, officiating. Burial was in the Riverside Cemetery. Mrs. Herman Oltman was at the organ and Herman Oltman sang, Abide With Me and The Old Rugged Cross. Pallbearers at the service were Otto Hecker, Glen Hecker, Ernest Hecker, Richard McLaughlin, Wilbur Fulfs, and Arthur Shippert.
