Mr. Paul D. Clement, Jr., 71, died Friday, April 4, 1997, at High Point Regional Hospital, following a lengthy illness.
Mr. Clement was born in Greensboro on May 1, 1925 to Paul D. Clement, Sr. and Josephine Grimsley Clement.
He had been a resident of High Point since 1949 and was a retired manager for Gerber Products Company.
Most recently he was associated with Proctor and Gamble Company.
Mr. Clement was a paratrooper in World War II, having served in the U.S. Army.
He received a Purple Heart for his service.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, Paula C. Cobb and Cathy G. Clement.
Surviving are his former wife, Mrs. Patricia Todd Clement of Jamestown.
