Mrs. Brindza was born Feb. 24, 1914, in Ford City, Armstrong County, a daughter of Alexander and Maria Zerebria Gerbolka.
She was a member for more than 60 years of Church of the Sacred Heart, Sharon.
Mary was a former employee at IBM; Clepper Manor, Sharon; G.C. Murphy; and Sacred Heart Church.
Her husband, George Brindza, whom she married Aug. 30, 1947, passed away March 11, 1967.
She is survived by her son, George A. Brindza and his wife Janice, Glenwood, Md.; and her grandchildren, Alexandra, David, Jordan and Craig Brindza. She also leaves more than 20 nieces and nephews in the Brindza, Bowen and Eastburn families.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Judy; and her sisters, Sophia R. Gerbow and Anne (Shorty) M. Attenberger.
