James A. Mayden
Funeral services are pending for
James Mayden, 1120 E. Tenth St. who
died Tuesday in the V.A. Hospital
in Muskogee.
Born Jan. 6, 1897, in Texas.
Mr. Mayden was a carpenter until
his retirement two years ago. He
came to Okmulgee in 1922, remaining
here until his death. A member of
the Baptist church. Mr. Mayden was
veteran of World War 1, belong to
the V.F.W. 1189, White Williams
American Legion Post no. 10.
Surivors include his widow.
Mrs. Levora Mayden of the home.
Two dauhters : Judy Hiner, of
Elko, Nev. and Mrs. Ernestine
Trimble of Amarillo, Tex. Four sons
Thomas S. of Bell Garden, Calif.
Warner of Nipomo, Calif. Donald R.
of Bramen, Okla. and Ed of Okmulgee,
Okla. He one brother Elmer Mayden
of Trevar, Calif. and one sister
