Hastings resident Virginia "Ginger" Stark (Stone) McCoy, 80, of Good Samaritan Village Goldbeck Towers died Friday, April 11, 1997, at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Salvation Army with the Rev. Ted Brust officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery. Visitation is until 9 p.m. today and 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Brand-Wilson Funeral Home chapel.

Mrs. McCoy was born May 2, 1916, to Arch and Clara (Robare) Stone in Hastings. She married Fred Stark in 1936. He died in October 1965. In 1967 she married William McCoy. He died in January 1996. She worked at the Naval Ammunition Depot during World War II.

She was a member of North Shore Assembly of God Church.

Survivors are one daughter, Patricia Witrhlik of Hastings; four sons, Gary Stark of Ramona, Calif., Mickey Stark of Loveland, Colo., Lonnie Stark of Emmett, Idaho, and Dennie Stark of Yankton, S.D.; two stepdaughters, Jolene Rutt and Glenda Thaut, both of Hastings; five stepsons, William McCoy of Bay City, Mich., and Ronald McCoy, Richard McCoy, Jerry McCoy and Randy McCoy, all of Hastings; her stepfather, Guy Stone of Mitchell; one sister, Charlene Rohrick of Fort Collins, Colo.; two brothers, Burdette Stone of Grand Junction, Colo., and Jack Stone of Las Vegas, Nev.; 15 grandchildren; 18 stepgrandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 18 stepgreat-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She also was preceded in death by an infant son, one grandchild and one infant great-grandchild.

Memorials may be given to North Shore Assembly of God Church.
