Doyle Franklin Ramsey, 81, of Timpson, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at his residence. He was born February 13, 1931 in Shelby County to Ervin Frank Ramsey and Mary Lee Hughes Ramsey. Mr. Ramsey served in the United States Army from 1954 until 1956, including active duty in the Korean War. He was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church in Timpson.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Ronnie Sowell and Bro. Travis Lee officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Center.

Pallbearers will be Mr. Ramsey's grandsons: Casey Milford, Roscoe McSwain Jr., Cole Milford, Keaton Bush, Colton McSwain, Ben Ramsey, Cecil McSwain, Cory Bradshaw, Roscoe McSwain, Kyle Bush and Doug Milford Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Fred Hilton Hooper, J.C. McSwain, John Henry Holloway, Jesse Jones, Chayln Mackey and Bruce Samford.

He is survived by

Son: Rocky Bradshaw and wife, Denise of Carthage
