Albert E. Hacker, 86, of East Broad Street, Trumbauersville, Bucks County, died Thursday in Quakertown Community Hospital. He was the husband of the late Pearl R. (Keiser) Hacker.
He was a self-employed farmer and operated an egg route in the Trumbauersville area until retiring in 1977. During the same time he was employed by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation before retiring in 1965.
Born in Geryville, Bucks County, he was a son of the late William and Mary (Simmons) Hacker.
He was a member of West Swamp Mennonite Church, Milford Township.
Surviving are three daughters, Betty Ewaniuk of Richlandtown, Mary, wife of William Shelly of Virginia Beach, Va., and Janice, wife of Donald Swartz of Hatfield; four sons, A. Floyd of Norristown, Roland of Trumbauersville, Ray of East Petersburg, Lancaster County, and Ernest of Oak Lawn, Ill.; 19 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the church. A calling hour in the church will precede the services.
The C.R. Strunk Funeral Home, 821 W. Broad St., Quakertown, is in charge of arrangements.
