ROLLAND BRESCOLL, 68 of 12909 Mermill Road, Portage, died Tuesday night in Community Nursing Home after a prolonged illness.
The former owner and operator of Brescoll Auto Sales in Bowling Green, he had various new and used car sales agencies in the area. He was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church; the American Legion; Elks Lodge No 818; and the Country Club, all of Bowling Green.
Mr. Brescoll was born Jul 4, 1906 in Wood County to Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Brescoll (Della Whitmer). He married Kathryn Campbell, who died in 1959. In 1961, he married Marjorie Neiling, who survives with several cousins. 3 brothers preceded him in death.
The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the church with Rev. Jeffrey Nordhaus officiating. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 2 to 9 p.m. at the Dunn Funeral Home where a wake service is scheduled for Thursday at 8:45 p.m.
