Robert N. Rizer, 74 retired mine worker died yesterday afternoon at his home, 30 Hill Street. He had been in failing health eight years.
A native and lifelong resident of Frostburg, Mr. Rizer was a son of the late Simeon and Henrietta (Holtzman) Rizer. He was a mine worker for many years retiring in 1940. Mr. Rizer was a member of the Church of the Nazarene
Besides his widow, Mrs. Mary (Clark) Rizer, he is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Richard LaRue, Mrs Wilbert Winters, Mrs. Clarence Yaist and Mrs. Louis Plummer, all of Frostburg; a son, Robert Rizer, of Oakland; four brothers, William and Arthur Rizer, of Frostburg; Alfred Rizer, of Zilhman, and James Rizer, of Cumberland; 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The body is at the home. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
