Doyle passed away in Bakersfield on October 28th after a long fight with diabetes and heart complications. He was preceded in death by his father Pat Dickson in 1982 and his mother Kathleen in 2008.
He is survived by his daughter and her husband, his brother & sister-in-law, and their children of Houston, TX, his cousins of Bakersfield, his step children and several grandchildren of Taft., as well as his beloved little sidekick "Buddy".
Doyle was a distinguished Vietnam Veteran, receiving the Bronze Star with "V" device and the Purple Heart for his heroism while serving with Troop C, 1st Squadron, 11th Armored Calvary Regiment.
Doyle's big, loving heart endeared him to nearly all he met. Doyle never met a stranger and did his best to live each day to the fullest. To his family and friends he will be greatly missed and long remembered.
