TUSCOLA -- Cora May Allen Long, 77, of Tuscola died at 12:55 p.m. Thursday (Nov. 26, 1992) at Douglas Nightengale Nursing Home in Tuscola.
She was born March 24, 1915, in Murdock, the daughter of Lee and Stella Everhart Allen. Surviving are two sons, Harold and Russell Long, both of Tuscola; two daughters, Margaret Weaver of Tuscola and Nancy Romack of Mattoon; a brother, Edward Allen of Oakland; three sisters, Elsie Casebeer of Champaign, Winnie Woods of Newman and Mary Corray of Champaign; 10 grandsons, three stepgrandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, a brother and a sister.
She was a retired nurse's aide at Jarman Hospital for 21 years, a member of the Tuscola United Church of Christ and the Tuscola Order of Eastern Star No. 44.
