Anna married William Meyers on 17 Oct 1874 [October 10] in Saint Lucas, son of Herman Henrich and Katharina Adelheid (Schmitz) Meyer. Rev. U Fray officiated. They lived on a farm 1 1/2 miles east of Waucoma until 1919. They had had 8 children, 5 still living at the time of her death; Frank H. and Theodore H., of Waucoma, Anna, (Mrs. Wm Bieker) of St. Lucas, Rose, (Mrs. Henry Meyers) of St. Lucas, and Bertha , ( Mrs. Joe Perry), Waucoma.
Her husband preceded her in death in 1920. She died on 31 Oct 1930 in Waucoma at age 82, and was buried in St. Mary's Cemetery."Mrs. Myers was a good Christian woman, wonderful wife and mother, kind firend and loving neighbor and will be greatly missed by children and all who knew her. Besides 5 children she leaves 2 sisters, Mrs. Caroline Knockles, Calmar and Mrs. Theodore Meyer, Sr. Waucoma and hosts of other relatives and friends mourn her departure.
Those from out of town attending the funeral were Mrs. C. Knockles and M/M Herman Bush, Calmar, M/M Peter Knockles, Decorah, M/M George Budke, Calmar, M/M Ed Budke of Ft. Atkinson and many others from neighboring towns."
