One of their daughters, Elizabeth "Eliza," remained in Cocke County and married George Roberts, who was killed in the Civil War. Eliza and George were the parents of English Creek residents William and John Roberts. After George's death, Eliza married Wesley Murr. (George and A. L. Roberts were brothers.)
In 1860 (census data), Henry's parents, William (81) and Susannah (84) were living with him and Eve.
When the 1870 census were taken, their oldest son, Carter (with his small son and daughter) was living with his parents in Cocke County. After his mother died in 1871, Carter and his family moved to California.
Henry remarried. He and his second wife, Mary Artemasia Acton, had a son, Landon. (Ms. Acton was probably a daughter of W.D. Acton and Harriet Sisk.)
Henry and Eve were buried in the Kyker Cemetery in the Bogard Community. They do not have identifiable grave markers.
