HEART FAILURE
THE CAUSE

Mrs. Chas. W. Clark Passed Away
Thursday Evening as Result of
an Attack of Heart Failure

Very unexpected and likewise very
sad is the death of Mrs. Mary Clark,
wife of Chas. W. Clark of 542 Twen~
ty~second avenue north, which oc~
curred Thursday evening at 11 o'clock
following a sudden attack of heart
failure.
The deceased was about 40 years of
age, and besides leaving to mourn her
a husband, she leaves also seven
small children, with no one to care
for them but a hard working father.
So far as can be learned the funeral
will be held Sunday morning from the
home and interment be made at North
Star cemetery.

A Sad Death
It becomes out painful duty to re~
cord, what seems to us, the saddest
death we ever knew. It is that which
occurred in St. Cloud at twenty min~
utes of 11 o'clock Thursday night
January 5th 1905, when the soul of
Mrs. Marie J. Clark returned to its,
maker.
Deceased was born in Hamburg,
Germany, July 27, 1866*, and came to
Minnesota in 1882 when only 16 years
of age. She was first married in 1886
to Chas. Miner who died in 1896. In
1899 she was united in marriage to
Chas. W. Clark of St. Cloud. She
leaves to mourn her sad and untime~
ly death a loving husband and seven
children the youngest of which is but
seven weeks old.
This family has been under quar~
antine twice the present winter for
diphtheria and the deceased had been
under constant strain almost contin~
ually, and little did the loved ones
expect the end to come so quickly
and in so tragic amanner, she having
apparently enjoyed her usual good
health right up to the very day of her
death.
The funeral was held from the resi~
dence on 22nd Ave. North, Sunday
afternoon and the remains laid to
rest in North Star cemetery. The
bereaved family have the sympathy
of everyone.

On the resurrection morn.
Tho' thy darling form lies sleeping
In the cold and silent tomb,
Thou shall have a glorious waking
When the blessed Lord doth come.
