Notice of Death published in the New Hampshire Observer, Concord, NH on Friday, August 01, 1834, on page 3:

"In this town, the 29th ult, Charles Walker, Esq., in the 69th year of his age. He was the eldest son of the late Judge Timothy Talker, and grandson of Rev. Timothy Walker, the first minister of Concord. He was born 25 September 1765, and was graduated at Harvard College, 1789. He read law with the Hon. John Pickering of Portsmouth, whose daughter he married, and settled in practice in his native town. At an early period of his life, he was Assistant Clerk to the House of Representatives, and on the accession of President Jefferson, was appointed the third Postmaster in Concord. He was appointed civil magistrate in 1805, and was many years President of one of the Concord Banks, incorporated in 1806, and he filled at the time of his death the office of Director of the Merrimack County Bank."
