Williston, June 25 [1938] -- Samuel Pinkney Ford, 84, died suddenly at his home Friday afternoon.
Funeral services will be held at the grave side in the Williston cemetery at 10:30 o'clock Sunday morning, with the Rev G M Rogers officiating. He was a member of Long Branch Baptist church and was known by a host of friends throughout the county.
He is survived by his wife [Savilla Annie Padgett Ford] and two children, Robert Ford, Burlington, NC and Mrs Mamie Ford Collins, Pennsylvania.
