1928 - 2013
Glen H. Williams, 84, of Ashland, passed away Saturday morning, January 26, 2013, in the Community Hospice Care Center.
He was born August 11, 1928, in Waterloo, OH., a son of the late Jasper and Gladys Pack Williams.
Glen retired after many years of service at Johnsons Dairy. He was a member of Grandview Church of God and had attended Meade Station Church of God. He enjoyed
spending time with his grandkids, and enjoyed fishing trips with his family and
friends.
He was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Mabel Lorene Williams in 2010, two brothers, Donald and Willie Williams, two sisters, Rhoda Williams and Barbara Sorrell Johnson.
Survivors include two sons, Dana G. Williams and wife Johnda of Ashland and Kevin D. Williams and wife Debra of Columbia, SC., two brothers, Jasper Martin Williams, Jr., of Florida and Ernest Williams of West
Virginia, three sisters, Mary Moore, Marie Smith, and Sally Jackson all of Ashland, five grandchildren, Dean Williams, Libby Williams, Carlie Williams and Calista
Williams, two step-grandchildren, Cody Pennington and Colten Bryant.
Funeral service 2 p.m. Monday, January 28 , 2013, at Steen Funeral Home, Central Avenue Chapel, with Pastor Rob Jordan officiating. Entombment at Ashland Cemetery.
Visitation two hours prior to service at the funeral home.
