Anna Mae Self, age 85, of Maryville, died Friday, January 25, 2013 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Self was a longtime member of East Maryville Baptist Church and was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grand and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed by family and friends. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Rev. Fred C. Self; Son, Garry Self; and Daughter, Margaret Ann Cooper. Survivors include her Sons and Daughters-in-law, Darrell and Michele Self, Larry and Becky Self; Son-in-law, Butch Cooper; Grandchildren, Tony Cooper, April Self, Amanda Johnson, Dana Basler, Darren Self, and Darrell Thomas; Five Great-grandchildren; Brothers, Leroy Rogers of Maryville and Bill Rogers of Cleveland, GA; The family would like to express special thanks to Mark and Julee Clark, and Kim Ward for their care of Mrs. Self. A celebration of Anna Mae's life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 28, 2013 in the Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Keith Johnson and Rev. Butch Cooper officiating. The Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 in Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, January 28, 2013 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Funeral & Cremation Service, 983-1000, www.SmithMaryville.com.
