Borm July 14, 1952 in Jamestown, New York, the son of Douglas and Elaine Weilacher Nelson. Donald had been employed by Edlen Garage Doors as an installer prior to his illness and had honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. Survivors include his children, Lynn Holt (Matt), Melissa Lee (Robert) and Kevin Nelson; sisters, Sheryl Fick (Neil), April Fowler (Max) and Tammy Surdam; a brother, Chuck Surdam and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Douglas and Elaine Surdam Nelson and Edward C. Surdam and a brother, Dennis Nelson.
