One of Worth County's leading citizens, who had been a banker of statewide prominence, died at his home in Joice, last Thursday. He was K.S. Paulson, 93. Besides being a person of stature in Worth County community affairs he was well known throughout the state in banking circles.
Kittle was a graduate of Dodgeville High School in Wisconsin, and took Normal Training at the Valparaiso University in Indiana. He taught school at Mt Horeb, Wis., before coming to Worth County Iowa about 1896. He taught school in Fertile for one year before entering the banking business there with Fenton Roades.
He married Christine Abraham on Thanksgiving Day November 26, 1908.
They were the parents of two children, a son, Kermit and a daughter Crystal.
Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and by five brothers, Herman, Carl, George, Martin and Henry, one sister Miss Hannah Paulson and one great-granddaughter. He is survived by his son Kermit, his daughter Darlene, a brother Otto, one sister Elizabeth, three grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
