THOMPSON, William D., age 46, a native of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on Saturday May 6, 1989, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center following a lengthy Illness. Member of Great Allen A.M.E. Church, a graduate of Roosevelt High School Class of 1961, graduate Miami University 1965, attended University of Indiana Law School, received his Masters Degree from New York University In Marketing, attended Naval Officers Training School. He was an Avon Regional Manager in Los Angeles, Ca. for 15 years. He Is survived by his devoted parents Charles and Sarah Thompson; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles (Beulah) Thompson, Jr., Michael (Maeda) Thompson, Sr.; nieces and nephews, Rachel, Reuben, Michael, Jr., and Maechelle Thompson; 3 uncles and aunts, Richard and Louise Thompson, Albert and Geraldlne Tucker, Henry and Betty Jo Tucker; 2 aunts, Virginia Nobles, Ruby T. Wilson, all of Dayton; other relatives, and many friends. Funeral services 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at Greater Allen A.M.E. Church, 1620 W. 5th St. Rev. Charles L. Scott Officiant, Burial Woodland Cemetery. Visitation on Tuesday 4 to 9 P.M. Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 P.M. at the church. Procession will form at the church. Arrangements Smith Funeral Home, 370 South Broadway.
